Furry Fleece is so darn soft!
So, its been awhile. Well, its been awhile since I've done much in the way of being crafty. I did do most of the quilting for the Amadeus quilt, but its not quite finished. I ran out steam on that one and my husband got tired of it being out all the time, so he put all my stuff away! I've just not gotten around to getting it back out and finishing it. Seriously, all I have to do is finish quilting the border and then add the binding. How lazy is that?!?
Well, today I finally did something. I bought some of that furry fleece in a pretty ivory color awhile ago when it was 50% off. Well, I was a ding dong and I only bought half of what I needed. It is 60" wide, so I thought that I would make a nice square throw and I proceeded to purchase a little more than 60" of it. I was so happy - I brought it home and laid it on the floor to admire and when I unfolded it, I realized my mistake. This was weeks ago. Today we were out and about, and it was on sale for 40% off, plus I had a 10% off your total purchase coupon, so I bought another 60" so I could finish it.
Its messy as all get out, and now I have to go vacuum the entire apartment and get rid of all the fuzz. But its so soft!!! And how hard is it to sew a square, really?? This is it. . .
