Ok. I have to post again. I just can't stop looking at it. I LOVE it! I love your two color approach, both in this one and the red one. Just fabulous -- you're the YoYo Godess!!!

It's me. I'm back again and I'm stalking this quilt!!! My friend Brigette and I have decided we must make this quilt because we're out of paper bags to breathe into so we must do something to stop the hyperventilating!

Can you tell me how big your yoyos are? And how big each square is that surrounds the yoyo (if that makes sense? And did you stitch all the way around each yoyo when you attached it to the back, or just tack them down. (I'm thinking stitching all the way around?)

We're terribly excited to get started! I saw the Ethan Allen version last night and almost fainted!!!

Your quilt is strikingly beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
I quilt for charity with my local quilt guild. I like to give quality...like your quilts are!
Hence, a few questions please?
Did you applique the YoYos before you quilted the quilt or after?

Galveston Gal,

I tried to reply to your post, but there was no e-mail.

Thank you - I'm glad you like it. I quilted the quilt and finished the binding before hand-stitching on each yo-yo. It takes forever, but if you like hand work, it is oddly satisfying!

Thank you!
Between you and Thimbleanna, I will get it done.
The Island Quilters Guild of Galveston, TX will rec. my quilts at our next monthly meeting.
Your sites and your works are inspirational.
Thank you!

Love your quilt - I fell in love with the Ethan Allen yo yo quilt years ago and just recently decided to take the plunge and make my own yo yo quilt. After doing a little research I found your blog and fell in love with your black and white design. My living room is all black and cream so I got my supplies and have about 180 yo yos done so far. Any chance you would be willing to share the dimensions you used for laying it out and also the size and spacing of the quilting design? If so I would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks so much! Brenda
